I have an i7 processor, and a very high quality external audio card. I have 4gb's of RAM, and about 48% of that is used while the Blu Ray is playing. Other times (usually after the first freeze), if i try to resume playing I get a bunch of pops and crackles through the audio, and the video is stuttery. the timer will still count down the minutes until the movie is over) but the image stays frozen. I've also tried using DVDFab lite, and still, had no success. DVDFab 32-bit is a DVD/Blu-ray/video processing application. I've used system monitor to see what programs were accessing the Disk Drive while the Blu Ray was playing, but everything seemed normal (Only cyberlink was accessing the drive). ![]() I've tried everything, from removing Dell's Datasafe software, removing all Roxio software, and using Cyberlink's PowerDVD Ultra 11. I have a dell Studio 15 (1557) with Blu Ray (I'm not certain on the make of the drive). I understand that there are quite a few threads on here (and all over the web) on how to resolve this problem. ![]()
